Wildlife: Baby Birds

Every year, we have a new family of baby robins nested atop our front door, this year was a new surprise! We are not sure what type these sweet little baby birds are, anyone? We were thinking English sparrows? Thanks all for any ideas and have a Blessed day!

Be sure they are not " rats on wings " the European sparrow.

An interesting website about these birds and the damage they do to native birds especially bluebirds.

They are the kind you see around, or even inside big stores that sell food or bird seed. They also hang around fast food places. Hopefully your cute little birds are a native species

enjoy. :-)

These day old little ones are in their nest that is on our back porch light to the right of our door. That poor mama bird! We come and go out of that door so much. She flies off squawking at us each time!

Mama bird built a nest in my utility room. One day, I heard chirping and found these little ones. They were hungry and anxiously awaiting mama bird to come back with food. Soon afterward they found their wings and took off. Fond memories of them.
