Roasted Hamburger, Potatoes and Carrots

I like this recipe because you can vary the amounts of the ingredients as you need to.

Ingredients:

  • several slices tomatoes
  • hamburger patties
  • slices of onion
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 cups cut up carrots
  • 2 cups cut up potatoes
  • 2 Tbsp. butter

Directions:

Place sliced tomatoes in bottom of roaster in a single layer. Place a hamburger patty on each slice of tomato. Place a slices of onion on top of each patty. Place potatoes and carrots over all (either mixed or one on one side of raster and the other on the side of roaster). Whichever you prefer. Place dots of butter on top of vegetables.

Note: Aluminum foil may be placed on bottom of roaster and up sides to make a complete bag for the ingredients to be in. This eliminates mess and keeps in flavor.

Cover with a lid or aluminum foil and bake at 350 degrees F until tender. Time varies according to how much ingredients you use, so watch close and check veggies and meat every several minutes or so. When I make this, it usually takes close to an hour.
