Other than sending them to a cleaner that specializes in cleaning leather, maybe you can try the steam from an iron on the INSIDE of the garment.
JUST to tell you - I've never done this, but I thought it might help.
Also, I'd go to a cleaner that specializes in cleaning leather and ask them directly; I'll bet they'll be happy to help you with suggestions.
