For smooth hair I use Biosilk. It gives great shine and reduces frizzies to nothing.

I had a little girl in my daycare that came at 5 a.m. I dressed her and fixed her hair. She was a mixed race and had curly soft textured hair, but lots of it. Other than washing and conditioning it, Biosilk was the only thing I could put in her hair that would enable me to comb thru it and fix it. It was a lifesaver. Her mom even started buying it. It is excellent for her skin type also. I personally have very dry hair and it is wonderful. Check ebay for better deals. JC Penney's and major hair salons carry it.

BioSilk is manufactured by Farouk Systems, Inc and you can get it from beauty supply shops or beauty shops. It's a bit expensive but a good product (I use it on my skin).

Who manufactures it and where can you buy it?
