Tip: Smoothies for Breakfast

Archived on 09/11/2009

Not a breakfast eater? Make a smoothie! The night before, add to the blender jar any combination of milk, yogurt, protein powder that you like. Store in fridge. In the morning add some frozen fruit and blend until smooth. You have both a protein and a carb, and it tastes great!

RE: Smoothies for Breakfast

Smoothies are a great way of getting milk products and fruit into kids. My 13 year old son has a ball making his own smoothies, and the combinations of fruit, yogurts, juices and other healthy ingredients are endless. (04/24/2005)
