A friend of ours made "bumpers" for a rowboat he had newly painted by cutting up a foam swimming noodle and stringing a pair on some nylon rope. You could make small ones for your boat - or throw a double-edged pair over your car if you have to park closely in a carport. (I am thinking about THAT.)

The foam noodles yields at least 4 potential bumpers!

cut off pieces about 3 inches long slice only one side of them half way thru but leaving connected then place over your car seat belt hooks that are so floppy, it keeps them upright and easy to see, hook and unhook. espeacially if your trying to connect the belt to the car seat or bumper seat. works great!

Cut in half lengthwise and nail to garage walls for the front bumper and for the side doors. Works great.
