You can also nail one to the garage ceiling to tell you when you are parked far enough for the garage door to clear your back bumper. When the noodle touches the windshield, you are parked perfectly.

Metal stair rails can be painful and awkward for seniors with arthritis. Slip a split noodle over the rail, and tie it down with nice, colorful duck tape every four feet. The same goes for tub and shower grips. Swimming noodles are made from closed cell foam, they don't absorb water.
