To save money on your power bill - use a toaster/convection oven to cook your meals and for your baking whenever possible. Mine will hold an 8x8 pan and has two racks. It keeps the kitchen cool as well.

I also have a large toaster oven. It holds a 9X13 casserole dish. And I have a crockpot and outside grill. I'm not bragging just explaining what I use during the summer months.

The temp has been running around 110 and believe me using the stove is not an option. But I have learned to cook most everything with the three indispensible items above. Both the toaster oven and the grill were garage sale finds.
