Coat chicken with flour. Arrange chicken in single layer, skin-side-down, in melted butter or margarine in 9x13 inch baking dish. Bake covered, at 425 degrees F for 30 minutes. Turn chicken and bake until brown, about 15-20 minutes or until tender. Pour off excess fat.
Combine evaporated milk, soup, cheese, salt, thyme and pepper. Add onions and mushrooms. Pour over chicken. Cover dish with foil and bake at 325 degrees F for 20 minutes.
