Is anyone out there working on altered books? It is the art form I have chosen to display my talents. I would love to hear from others that share my passion.

I found your site and noted that the most recent date is more than two ears old. I became aware of altered books only recently and was wondering if you are still working on them. I hope they continue to be an enjoyable hobby for you.

I've recently started doing collage which is like altered books but on a flat surface. I love it! from what i've been able to find out altered art (including altered books and collage) is really becoming big right now! it's great for those of us who are creative but maybe not the best at drawing, painting, etc.

Sherry,
Thanks for enlightening me about this. I got curious so I googled it and what an interesting and expressive art form! I am definitely going to look at this more closely. Giving an old book new life as a form of themed mixed media art - too cool. Have you created any yet?
