Take one tub of frosting mix (any flavor), microwave for one minute. Add one cup of peanut butter to the frosting and microwave an additional minute. Add nuts (if desired). Pour in waxed lined dish and refrigerate. ALWAYS a winner!

Hi katvn, Ready made frosting mix is sold in a plastic tub in the US. It is smooth, creamy and ready to use. You are correct, it is for icing cakes.

Frosting mix is cake icing, available in the US in 9/18 ounce cans, in many flavors.

Sounds wonderful, but what is frosting mix? I am in Australia. Is it like icing for cakes?
