Chicken Potluck

Potluck recipes are a favorite of mine. And this is a simple, tasty one.

Ingredients:

  • 4-6 chicken breasts (skinless, boneless), browned
  • 2 cans mushroom soup, undiluted
  • 1 pint IMO or sour cream
  • 2 of dashes Worcestershire sauce
  • Cracker or Bread crumbs
  • Shredded cheese

Directions:

Placed browned chicken in casserole dish. Pour the soup, sour cream, and a couple dashes of Worcestershire sauce over chicken and bake until tender, 350 degrees F for about 30 minutes.

Top with cracker or bread crumbs and shredded cheese. Return to oven and brown.

There is no temperature for oven nor how long to keep the chicken in the oven.

What is IMO? Great recipe.

Sorry everyone, I just thought everyone knew about IMO

1. IMO is a sour cream substitute...( IMO is usually cheaper )

2. As far as when is the chicken tender?
When the thickest part of the breast is pierced and
the juice runs clear.
About 30 minutes at 350º

3. Yes, mix the soup, sour cream and
Worcestershire sauce and pour over browned chicken.

Steamed rice and green salad as sides makes this
a good " BIG family" dinner.
Hope this helps everyone. GG Vi

I was also wondering what IMO is.

Question 1: Do you mix liquid ingredients together before pouring over chicken?
Question 2: How long until tender? I have found baking takes varied times when it comes to chicken, and are there many things harder to eat than over-cooked chicken? Cay from FL

GG Vi, this recipe sounds good but I have a really dumb question. :-o
What in the world is IMO when it comes to food ingredients?
