Use a hair dryer on the highest heat setting. (If you have a heat gun...even better up to 350 degrees..no hotter or you will burn the leather) Heat the wrinkles out of the leather. It has to get pretty hot to work...leather can take the heat... Good Luck!
I would take the purse to a shoe repair, one who works with fine leather.
