Shelf Sitters for Bookends

Those shelf-sitter statues like angels, cherubs, and frogs can easily be used as bookends for a fun look.

I have also seen people cut bowling balls in half and use the pieces to hold books. Just turn the holes toward the back and people would never know it was a bowling ball. Plus the weight of the ball helps hold up the books!
