I need help cleaning rust and dirt from my fisher wood stove. I use it all winter and it needs to have its appearance cleaned up. I hope you can help me.
Thank you so much,
Suzy from Clifton Forge, Virginia
Since it is probably cast iron, I would check through the manufacture's reccomendations for cleaning (though something gentle, like Murphy's Oil soap, and then dry may be sufficient for dirt and grease) then sand down the rust with a fine grit sandpaper, and you can repaint (Rustoleum makes great flat paints) or see about who does powder coating in your area.
