Mix together:
- 1 cup margarine, melted
- 1 3/4 cups sugar
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 cups flour
Spread 2/3 of dough on cookie sheet (11x15 inches). Spread can of cherry pie filling over top. Take the rest of the dough and swirl over the top. Bake at 350 degrees F for 35 minutes (do not over bake, they should just be golden brown).
Frost with this mixture:
- 2/3 box powdered sugar
- 1 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Add milk for right consistency and frost while warm.
