Ingredients
- 1 baked angel food cake
- 1 package lemon gelatin (3oz.)
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 can crushed pineapple (20oz.)
- 1 small carton Cool Whip
- coconut, opt.
- Cherry pie filling, opt.
Directions
Tear cake into bite-sized pieces. Layer in ungreased 9x13 inch pan. Dissolve gelatin in boiling water; add pineapple. Let thicken in refrigerator, don't let set firm. Fold in Cool Whip. Pour over and around pieces of cake. Sprinkle top with coconut or serve with cherry pie filling over each piece.
