- 1/2 kilo or 1 pound mince meat*
- 1 packet of Dutch curry and rice soup mix
- 1 packet Chicken noodle soup mix
- 2 apples, cooked and mashed
- 1 small packet frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 onion chopped fine
- 2 tablespoons chutney
- 2 teaspoons curry
- 1 hand full of rice
- 4 cups water
- salt and pepper to taste
*Also known as ground beef or hamburger
Add all ingredients in large pan or slow cooker. Cook on low heat stirring occasionally so it does not catch on the bottom. Cooked when rice is soft. Serve with bread or mash.
I have made this in very large amounts to serve 100 people just times the recipe.
