There are 5 of us girls that all ran around together while in school years ago. We now try to get together each year for a few days just by ourselves. I would like to know if anyone has any ideas of places to go for a weekend. We now live in Kansas, Oklahoma an Texas. Any ideas would be great.

How about Fredricksburg, Texas - in the hill country? They have bed & breakfasts and charming little shops.

I agree...Branson, Missouri would be a great choice! There are so many fun things to see and do.....lots of variety........even outlet shopping malls, Silver Dollar City (a treat !) pretty scenery, friendly people. It's not terribly far from the states you mentioned, actually touches two...Oklahoma and Kansas! Check out Branson and Silver Dollar websites!

Have you tried Eureka Springs, AR or Branson, MO?
