When addressing envelopes use a wet sponge to moisten the envelope to close instead of licking them. The taste as we know is terrible an also not safe from studies I have read about.

I work part time at a church and we were mailing out letters. Walmart didn't have the small sponge letter sealers and I bought the regular sponges and cut a strip off the big sponge about 2 inches wide and 4 inches long and dabbed this in the water to wet the label. This worked really good. Thanks

After hearing of a lady who went to doctor with bumps on her lips & was told it was roach eggs in her lips from licking envelopes, i've never licked another! I know this is gross, but wanted to warn others.
