Hash Brown Bake

Ingredients:
  • 1 pkg. frozen southern style hash brown potatoes
  • 1 small carton (1 cup) sour cream
  • 1 stick margarine or butter
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Directions:

Mix all ingredients together and put into 9x12 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for about 45-60 minutes.

My recipe calls for 1 can of cream of mushroom soup instead of the chicken soup, but I have used cream of chicken too. Mine does not have milk though. I just made this two days ago, we love it. I also sprinkle parmesan cheese overtop of the 9 x 12" pan just before throwing in the oven.


Hash Brown Casserole

1 kg hash browns
1 500g container (2 cups) sour cream
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup melted butter
1/2 cup chopped onions
2 cups grated cheddar cheese
salt & pepper

Mix, sprinkle with parmesan cheese.

Bake 1 1/2 hour 350F in a greased 9 x 13" pan.
