I manage a Waffle Bakery and I am looking for easy toppings for my waffles. Any ideas or tips?

Mmm...We were in New Orleans and was served waffles (pancakes) with canned apple pie filling over them with whip cream for topping. We liked it so much that when I fixed breakfast, I made the same thing. I would think that you could serve other canned pie filling like blueberry, strawberry, peach and even blackberry.
My granddaughter loves chocolate chips mixed in with the waffle batter too.
When I was young my grandmother made a chocolate syrup and put a few chocolate chips.
Our favorite: crushed pineapple with toasted macadamia nuts and topped with whipped cream - with coconut syrup. YUM!
How about a sticky bun type caramel with pecans, yummy!
