Ingredients:
  • 2 cups mashed potatoes (cold)
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. shortening
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sweet milk
  • Dash salt
  • 5 tsp. baking powder
  • 5 cups flour

Directions:

Mix all ingredients. Drop into hot grease until golden brown on each side. Remove and dust with powdered sugar. Add 1 tsp. vinegar to each 1 lb. grease to keep from soaking.
