Grape Ice Cream I
- 1 12 oz. can frozen grape juice concentrate,thawed
- 2 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 12 oz can evaporated milk
- 1 pint light cream or half and half
- 2 cups milk
Dissolve sugar in grape juice and add lemon juice. Combine cream, evaporated milk and cream or half and half. Pour mixture into a 1 gallon ice cream freezer and churn according to manufacturer's instructions.

Grape Ice Cream II
- 4 cups sugar
- 6 cups water
- 1 qt. whipping cream or coffee cream
- 1 qt. grape juice
- juice from 2 lemons, strained
Boil sugar and water together for 3-5 minutes and cool. Add the cooled mixture and cream to a hand-cranked or electric ice cream maker, freeze until mushy. Open freezer and stir in remaining ingredients. Continue freezing until done.
