If you have a baby or young child still in diapers, purchase clothes in shades of yellow, orange, or red. Not only are these gender neutral colors, stains from poop blowouts don't show nearly as badly as they do on pink or blue! (I'm speaking from experience here.)

Another way to deal with "blow out" stains is to hang the clothing article to dry out in the sun. Especially if you are dealing with stains that came from a nursing baby, the stains will bleach out in the sun in just an hour or two.
