Screen Door Substitute

Instead of paying to have a screen door installed between an attached garage and the interior of the home, drape a shear lacelike material over an expansion rod. Place the rod at the top of the door inside the framework. No sewing needed, just pin the flap at the top, cut to the length you wish and put a few velcro tabs along the side edges so the wind won't allow the curtain to sway away. This lets the air flow through without another door to get in the way and keeps the flying bugs out!

Great job but Walmart does sell "Easy Breeze doorway screen curtain" for $12.00. It even comes with the tension rod. Fits doorways 38" x 81". My two little dogs love it cause they have the freedom to run in and out when they want.
