Using Oven Recipes for a Crockpot

Does anybody know how to convert oven time to crockpot time so that you can cook recipes for casseroles in the crockpot instead of the oven?

I found this online. Hope it helps. :-)

You will need to double (if not triple) the liquids since it cooks at a much higher temperature in the oven. As for the oven temp I'd say 325 - 350 degrees F. should be right for most recipes.

Stovetop Cooking Time - Crockpot Cooking Time - High/Low Temp
15-30 minutes (1 1/2-2 1/2 hrs)/(4-8 hours)
35-45 minutes. (3-4 hours)/6-10 hours)
50 minutes - 3 hours (4-6 hours)/(8-16 hours)
