Bavarian Mint Chippers

  • 1 cup softened butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp. instant coffee
  • 1 Tbsp. hot water
  • 3/4 tsp. mint extract
  • Ad
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped almonds


Cream butter with sugars. Add eggs, beating well. Dissolve instant coffee in hot water and add, along with mint extract. Sift dry ingredients; add and mix well. Stir in chips and nuts. Drop by teaspoonful onto greased cookie sheets. Bake at 375 degrees F for 8-10 minutes.

Robin, Is that instant coffee or instant coffee granules?
