RE: Removing Water Stain From Car Upholstery
Has anyone tried Gonzo Stain Remover? I am ready to try it. I need to remove a pen mark from the thin, felt-like upholstered ceiling of my friend's honda civic before they return from vacation (and a slight water stain from dabbing the pen mark! Ugh!) The Homax website looks very promising.

RE: Removing Water Stain From Car Upholstery
One night this last week I forgot to close the roof on my car and it rained overnight. I now have water marks on both front seats. I soon got the upholstry dry by leaving all the windows and boot open, but there is a water mark on both seats now. The seats are covered in blue material. Please can anyone advise me how to get rid of this. I have tried foam cleaner but it hasn't worked. Thanks Barbara

thanks for suggestions.(by the way,to answer your question, the dog had a swim in a river and then jumped onto the front seat). I've tried the standard upholstery cleaners and the stain has mostly gone. Will have to put up with a slight stain. Thanks for all your suggestions

You didn't say what he was wet from... But more than likely the stain is from the wet dirt & body oils on his hair that soaked into the upholstery. Whatever will lift those out is about all you can try. Good luck.

Try baby wipes. I use them all the time and they usually work for me. I don't think I've used them on a water only stain yet.

Spot Shot for carpets just removed a horrid water stain on our churches carpet. The stain was several years old.

I am certainly no expert, but I am curious as to maybe if one of those hand-held steamers (like Bissel) may do the trick. If it is merely water, maybe a good upholstery cleaning may not only get that water mark out, but give the rest of the upholstery new life with a good old fashioned elbow grease cleaning? If not plausable, maybe just an upholstery cleaning spray and a good scrub brush?
