Ham and Cheese Bake

This is a quick, easy recipe that will feed 6-8 people and it's delicious.

Ingredients:

  • 1 small canned ham, cut into small chunks
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 pound box elbow macaroni, cooked according to package directions
  • 1 stick butter cut into slices
  • 3 cups shredded cheddar cheese (you can use another kind of cheese if you wish)

Directions:

In large bowl, mix together ham, macaroni, cheese, milk, water and butter slices. Pour all into lightly greased large rectangular casserole pan. Place in oven to bake at 325 degrees F for 30 minutes or until bubbly and lightly browned on top. Serve with your favorite vegetables. Makes 6 large servings or 8 smaller servings.

Recipe: Ham Bake

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 package noodles, cooked
  • 2 cups shredded Swiss cheese
  • 3 cups cubed cooked ham
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted

Directions

In medium skillet saute' onions and green peppers in butter. Stir in soup and sour cream. In 3 qt. casserole, layer 1/3 of noodles, 1/3 of cheese, 1/3 of ham and 1/2 of sauce; repeat layers one more time. The third layer will have noodles, ham and cheese only. Saute' bread crumbs in 1/4 cup butter and sprinkle over casserole. Bake 30-45 minutes in 350 degrees F oven.
