A Plastic Bag Dispenser

A Plastic Bag Dispenser

A Plastic Bag Dispenser

To organize your plastic bags, try making a plastic bag dispenser. With the plastic bag dispenser, you can now store your plastic bags nicely. Simply fold each plastic bag and drop it into the dispenser and retrieve it at the bottom of the box when you need it.

Materials

  • A tissue box
  • Wrapping papers
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Ribbon or decorative materials
Make an opening on one side of the tissue box for you to drop in your plastic bags. Cut a rectangular opening at the bottom of the tissue box for you to retrieve a plastic bag. Wrap the tissue box with coloured or wrapping paper. Tie a nice little ribbon to decorate the box. Print the words "Plastic Bag Dispenser" and paste it on the box. Punch a hole at the side of the dispenser and thread a nice ribbon into the holes and tie a knot at the top. Now your plastic bag dispenser is ready for use.

I use two different dispenser, both can be decorated if you like. Even just with contact paper.
1. Take an old coffee can and make a cross cut through the top. Pack all the bags you can into the can, pull out one at a time, as you need them. I keep one in the kitchen, one in the garage, one next to the kitty litter box to use for litter disposal.

2. I use paper towel roll. You can pack allot more in there then you might think. Keep under sink or in drawer and pull out one at a time. Both these methods keep the bags neat and tidy at all times. Camping, car for trash bags or whatever. Happy creating!

you can also make one by cutting off a leg of a pair of jeans that you don't want to wear. And sewing the top and bottom edges down and adding a drawstring. I make one that way and I have it in my bathroom to keep platic bags in.
