A peanut butter and jelly sandwich is much less messy on a hotdog bun. Try it and see if I'm right!

My husband is lost when I am not home to cook for him. One day when I was working he was all proud of himself because he made a "jelly burger" for lunch (jelly on a hamburger bun). I use hotdog buns for PB&J, philly cheesesteaks, garlic bread, sub sandwiches, etc.

I worked for a gal one Fair in Fairbanks, AK.

She made mini pizza's on hogie buns and we couldn't keep up!!

They were easy to hold, just the right size, and crusted up in the toaster oven without getting soggie!!

Yes, I make P B & J or just peanut butter sandwiches on hot dog or hamburger buns. Usually it's when I have them leftover. I also think they are very good toasted with butter for breakfast. Hamburger buns works especially nice for sandwiches in my children's lunchboxes....easier for small hands to hold.
