Use a Junk Mail Envelope as a Bookmark

You'll never be without a bookmark if you get junk mail. Just clip off a corner of an envelope in a triangle. Either use it plain or let one of your children decorate it for you. Then just slip the corner over the page of your book to mark your place.

I use any one of the dozens of paper inserts you find in magazines - usually they are advertisements or subscription forms.

I use old envelopes to write my shopping lists on. Handy to tuck my coupons in them as well! When I am done, they get shredded and then put on my garden for mulch.

I do this with cards my kids or husband have given me. That way they are never very far from my thoughts.
