I used minwax to stain over wood paneling in my basement. Dried, looks good, has a terrible ordor. How can I eliminate odor? It is winter and i have all the windows open and fans on.

Buy some FRESH CAB - a product you should be able to find at a pest control/exterminator retail store. It is biodegradable and was formulated for enclosed places that had a dead mouse odor

The odor will subside. It will take 7 to 12 days maybe longer. Minwax, on such a large area, will omit fumes even after it is dry to the touch for some time. The heaver you applied the Minwax, the longer it will take to fully cure. Once the Minwax has fully cured, the odor will subside......
