I am looking for a pattern for an edging to crochet, to sew around a pillow as a ruffle. Can anyone help?

Make a chain as long as the 4 sides of the pillow added together. Then make 2 double crochets in the 4th chain from your hook. Now make 3 double crochets in each chain. Should be enough to make it ruffled. Then sew it around your pillow. Hope this helps.
