Go camping! It will be great fun especially if your daughter is an outdoor kid. Have some friends tag along. Have a campfire and tell scary stories (but remember to leave them alone for some time. Tweens like to be by there selves and just talk with there friends) let them stay up late. The next mourning go swimming. Get some ice cream. Trust me. It will me fun.

Ask you daughter what's she wants to do. If you are feeling a bit uncomfortable with an idea, try to change it around a little, but remember it's your daughter's birthday, not yours

What you could do is have a disco for all her friends any amount over 6 people is good but its up to you. You could also set out a buffet with all sorts of finger foods have a disco ball and them rock out listing to their favorite music. You might choose to have the party outside it up to you play games dance eat and remember to have fun.

Go swimming or something like that at a local pool then go back to your house and have a cinema night with popcorn and stuff, then let them sleepover and have a real party. It's what im doing for my birthday in a week's time

Well, some children like to have a party at there house. Children like to also do pin the tale on the donkey. You can also make snowglobes and lava lamps. You can do cave writings, meaning that they use chopsticks to make shapes and letters in clay. Then the children have to guess what each cave writing means!

Instead of taking the girls to the woods to go camping. Why not just put up a tent in the backyard and the girls can do what they want to do?

Maybe you could have a Spa weekend... Or she could have a few friends sleepover and have pizza and some party games

I have to say for 10-12 birthdays the best choice is a sleepover and before that having a water balloon fight and going to the pool! Even some cool.

Movies or puzzles are fun for kids that age. But sometimes for 12 year olds they are in middle school. Now I had this same problem were you can't have a sleepover (my birthday is at the beginning of the year) cause you don't know anyone to well but you don't wanna have a lame party. A good alternative would be to just go swimming or even go bowling or a themed dance party!

Every girl these days and even some boys can definitely be down for a dance party maybe at your house or even the park to get the kids out and active! Hope I helped just trying to give ideas from the tweens point of view. Sorry this was so long but what can I say I have a lot of ideas! Good luck and don't put any pressure on your kid! They are just a child after all.

Do an emoji themed birthday party and you can do emoji bingo or something like that also you can do a photo booth and make your own emojis with paper plates and markers and use those for the photo booth. Hope that helps!

Heres some ideas I may think that will be very helpful and cheap
Maybe let them make slime
Try and do a dress up party
Let them make their own personal pizzas

On a summer weekend maybe go to the beach and make castles
And last but not least have a home spa day
