13 Birthday Party Ideas

Could I have some help? I want to have a birthday party, but have no idea what to do. I need things to do at home and for around about 100 dollars and under, for about 7 kids. What could I do?

13 is such a great number. Your first as a "teen" and looking forward to your future.

Have you thought of doing a "13" theme? All things 13 like seeing how many words you can make from the word "Thirteen".

Or, you could divide a deck of 52 cards up by 13 at a table of 4 and have each person and play "bingo". You have someone call all the cards from their deck and each person who puts theirs down in the center of the table and runs out first wins a prize.

There are a ton of games you could find who's base if 13.

I hope these have helped.

Wow!! 13 is a difficult age, veering between sophistication and childhood. Both girls and boys, I take it? They could make some party food if you find out in advance what their likes are.

There's an instant 'ice-cream' made from frozen bananas, vanilla and cocoa; cookies or cup-cakes to decorate; special sandwiches to make. Then they get to take their own produce home with them, if they haven't eaten it all!

I would take a poll from all the kids and take it from there. they may have great ideas that you and the birthday teen can select from. This way you can hear direct from the teens and what they think is fun.

Thirteen is a *Tween* age party. You want them to feel like big girls but not too big. You could have a a nail stylist (or an older teen) come in and do *Mani-Pedi's* They would just love it! For the party, have pizza delivery and soda, pop some popcorn.

And some of their favorite music. A goodie bag (from the dollar Store) filled with some nail polish, polish remover, emery boards, hand cream, any sample size girly stuff! The bags are cheap also there. Have a great time planning this party with your thirteen year old daughter!! Including her in the planning is so important!
