13th Birthday Party

My daughter is turning 13 very soon and she wants it to be a posh party. Yet I don't know where it will be or what I'm going to do. Some help please?

I don't know where you live, but some restaurants have a high tea. This may be something if interest to you.

You can have a posh birthday party at home! The girls can have a spa day doing their nails, hair together and bake afterwards. Perhaps a sleepover too!

Have a cream tea and scone party followed by manicures and pedicures. Everyone can dress up for the occasion, too :)

You could have it at your house. Set up a candy station, there very popular do all pink looks nice.Make sandwiches 3 different varieties, tuna, ham, cheese and,egg salad.Cut up some vegetable trays with dip.Decorate with balloons hanging over the tables from the ceiling pink two different types of pink. Hang them on the chairs as well.Make a big container of cherry juice.Use pink cutlery, plates, and cups.Put all cutlery, and a napkin in mason jars and put name tags on for each person.Put pretty candles in the middle of the tables.Put a table cloth on and spread some confetti around the table. You could plan a spa party. With facials, manicures, and pedicures.Have make up set up on a table, just get it from the dollar store. You could do a craft the girls would like.Play a few games for prizes. You could play, What's in that Bag?: This game requires a bit of forward planning. Basically, you sit the kids in a circle and have 10 or so "mystery" foods in black containers bags. You pass the container around the circle and everyone can touch, smell or taste the food (only one) without looking into the bag, blindfolds may be required. After the kids examine the food they write down what they think are in the bags/ containers, and the person with the most correct at the end wins! Pin the Tail on the Donkey: Once again this is a classic game that everyone knows, which can be easily spiced up. Print out a picture,of any person or celebrity from One Direction or use the birthday girls picture, and mount the image on some cardboard. Then print out some facial features accessories such as glasses, moustache, beard, earrings etc and cut them out and put adhesive ( sticky tape) on the backs of them. Have the kids line up and then one at a time blindfold them, spin them for 10 seconds and have them place a facial feature on the printed out picture. The most accurate kids win.For an active inside game, tie a balloon around each girls ankle and have the girls try to pop each others balloons without getting their own popped. If they do not want games then make jewlery , decorate t-shirts, or pillow cases.Maybe some scrap booking. Then later on watch a movie, supply each child with a box, with popcorn,a can of pop,and maybe a box of movie candy in it.You can do a DIY photo booth go to https://alittle … diy-photo-booth/ to get some ideas. Also pin interest has all kinds of ideas. All this stuff can be bought at the dollar store.
