Abreva and Pimples?

I'm about to embark on using Abreva on a uninvited and overstayed pimple that appeared 3 days ago and has a head, but just stays there, looking like something I really want to mess with. I'm using all my will power will power, but the freak won't change or leave.

Funny thing is that I was wondering about Abreva yesterday and just now accidentally ran across all the posts about it.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

I'm not sure that Abreva will help as its active ingredient is for fighting the herpes virus. I would try using a warm compress or washcloth (hot as you can stand) to help it to come to a head. Another product would be salicylic acid, which is in many commercial acne treatments. If it is still bothering you in a few days, I would probably contact your doctor for advice.
