Asian Turkey Sliders with Wasabi SauceThese are great little sliders and the wasabi sauce adds a real kick. I love the idea of using wheat dinner rolls as buns.


Total Time: 20 minutes

Yield: 3 servings (2 sliders each)



  1. Heat electric skillet or griddle to medium-high heat. An electric skillet works best. We've tried using a skillet on the stove but didn't have much success.
  2. Grind sesame seeds in a blender or food processor. Remove.
  3. Combine cottage cheese and milk in blender/food processor and blend until smooth, about one minute.
  4. In a large bowl, combine cottage cheese mixture with remaining ingredients. Mix well. Form into 6 patties.
  5. Grill burgers for 5-7 minutes on each side. Internal temperature should reach 165 degrees F. Place rolls on griddle to toast if desired.

  7. Mix mayonnaise and 1 tsp. wasabi paste. Adjust to taste. I tend to do almost 50/50 mayo and wasabi and then wonder why there's smoke coming out my nose - lol!
  8. Place grilled turkey burger on bottom half of the roll. Top with wasabi sauce as desired and the top half of the roll.
