This beautiful little baby hawk was sitting up against my house. I found him when I was bringing in sheets off of the clothesline.

What did you do with him? I hope kept an eye on him or handed him over to a bird rescue, some kitty could make him lunch. (07/11/2007)
The little guy (or gal) is a peregrin falcon. (07/11/2007)

HI, this is an American Kestrel - they are small falcons. I'm not an expert, but this looks to be an adult. Did he fly away? If he's injured and still hanging around, I could try to get you in touch with a wildlife rehabilitator in your area - I used to volunteer as one myself. (07/11/2007)
How wonderful to see one up close. He does appear to be a baby something, but I'm no expert. Hope you can save him and return him to the wild if he's not ill. God bless you for caring for His birds. : ) (07/12/2007)
