Mix:

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar

Add:

  • 2 eggs

Stir in:

  • one-half tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 cups flour

Blenderize:

  • 1 and one-half cup regular oatmeal to a fine powder
  • one-half cup regular size Hershey Bar

Add:

  • oatmeal mixture
  • 12 oz. chocolate chip package
  • 1 and one-half cup chopped nuts

Place golf ball size cookies about 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 325 to 350 degrees F for 10 - 15 minutes (not over).

Cookies will harden as they cool.

Suggestion: Use an ice cream scooper for placing the dough on cookie sheets.

Makes about 4 dozen cookies. Delicious.
