I am having a problem with buffering/streaming. When I am playing back videos, it stops, starts, and stops again. Any ideas how to fix this problem?

When I have this problem on streaming sites, I will pause the video, letting it load some more. You can see in the status bar how much, then resume play. That seems to work well.
Press pause; go away for 20 to 30 (this allows it to "buffer while paused".) you can generally have the whole thing "buffered" if you use this technique. When you return (after lunch or whatever) you might have a nice clean playback.
