We recently visited Washington DC and went to our National Botanical Gardens. What a feast for the eyes! I saw amazing plants and trees that I never knew existed and even got to walk along an upper balcony that felt like walking amongst the canopy of the rain forest.
The intricately, hand carved wooden figures and even our Capitol building (shown here) are displayed as well as two different trains passing by sites around our country, were dazzling. If you ever visit our capital, make sure you visit the botanical gardens. What a holiday treat for the eyes and soul!
