I have a lot of glass baking dishes and I also have a glass top range. I recently found a glass top spray cleaner out by "Easy Off", It can also be used on glass dishes too. You just spray it on and let it set for a short time then wipe it off. I rinse my dishes with hot water and they are as clean as if you had spent a long time scrubbing.

When hand washing glass cookware and cast iron pans, I like to use a window paint scraper with the blade to remove baked on food. It works great and has them clean in no time.
