What is the proper way to clean a Pampered Chef Stoneware product? We have a round one we use for pizza.

Hand wash in hot water; wash prior to first use. It is not recommended to use soap, detergent or an automatic dishwasher. Remove excess food with scraper. Not dishwasher safe.
