I use a very inexpensive cleaning product that removes lots of things. It's really quick and should remove your problem quickly. Take the brown bottle of hydrogen peroxide out of the medicine cabinet, pour a small amount on to the area where the pumpkin has saturated your vehicle. Pat with a paper towel, repeat until area is cleaned.
Clean up the spill of rotting pumpkin juice and ventilate the car.
Then use baking soda. It will help absorb any lingering smells. Sprinkled baking soda and let it sit. Then vacuum it out and if necessary, repeat the procedure several times.
Saturate the affected area with Nok-Out. It is available from Amazon. It will neutralize the odor.
If juice gets on the car seat upholstery, mix together warm water and liquid dish soap together in a bowl. With a white cleaning cloth, dip the cloth into the mixture and blot gently at the stain. Use a clean white cloth, because colored cloths will seep dye and cause bigger or worse stains. Additionally, never scrub at a stain as you can cause the stain to spread out or deeper into the fabric. Continue using the mixture and blot at the stain. Check to see if the pumpkin is transferring to the cloth and use different sections that are clean to prevent adding stain back into the upholstery. As the stain begins to dissolve, use a dry cloth to absorb the moisture. Next, rinse the area. Use the same blotting method to rinse the soap out, dip and blot and dry.
The simplest and effective way to remove smell is to set a bowl of vinegar or baking soda near the cleaned area, perhaps for a few days. Then vacuum and do it again until it goes away. Keep in mind that the bowls should be placed well out of reach of pets and young children.

You did not say where the juice from the pumpkin got in the car. Assuming it was on the floor I would take white vinegar and lemon juice, mix half a cup of each in a spray bottle, spray the area , let dry , then take a wet water sponge and clean the spot, you might have to do it several times !!
