Creating Shade for Potted Plants

June 7, 2016

umbrella shading geraniumsWe have very little shade. For our potted plants, we bought umbrellas at Dollar Tree and broke the bottom off. When it's too hot and sunny we put them up, in each pot, over the plants.

This is a great idea. (Imagination running riot; the frilly type of geranium would have a pale coloured parasol; the upright soldierly Umbrella plant would have a black, city-man type and a cheese plant, a big fishing shade!)
Seriously, this is a super idea.Wish you had a picture of your garden.
