Crocheted Easter Egg Cups

I thought of these when I was trying to come up with something cute to do with plastic Easter eggs.

Total Time: 5-7 Minutes per cup

Yield: 6

Supplies:

Steps:

  1. With your hook, chain 2 and make 10 HDC (half double crochets), for 10. Join with a slip stitch in the 2nd chain of chain 2.
  2. Chain 2 and make 2 HDC in each other previous 10, for 20. Join in 2nd chain from chain 2.
  3. Chain 2 and make 1 HDC in each of the 20 from the previous row. Repeat this for two more rows (do not increase).
  4. Chain 3 and slip stitch it in every other stitch from the previous row. Join with the last slip stitch and cut, working in the tail. At this point, you can either drop a little glue in the center of the base row and press the wide end of the egg inside. Or, leave it "free" to use on something else. N-JOY!!
