A background placed on a wall with bunting to be used as a photo booth.Photo booths are very popular at parties, especially birthdays, engagement parties, weddings, baby showers, get-togethers, holidays and so forth. If you're on a budget, you could have a make shift DIY photo booth with simple items you may already have around your home! Or, you can purchase/make props at a cheaper cost.

For the background, you could buy an inexpensive table cloth from the dollar store for a buck, like I did! Tape the table cloth against the the wall. A window would stick best as the background.

  • For a banner: I made flags with paper I had at home and strung them for a background prop.

  • For the props: You could use anything you have around the house (sunglasses, hats, scarves, etc) or purchase inexpensive props at the Dollar Store!

  • As for a camera, if you have a DSLR the quality will be much better but any camera will do (even a smart phone) and it'll be easier if you have a tripod but if not, someone can take the photos.
